OOMG Represented at GIS Day



Dr. Joe Zambon was invited by the NC State Libraries to give a talk on GIS Week, a week featuring Geographic Information Systems and the different types of data that can be represented.  Dr. Zambon presented on a wide-format, interactive display at the Hunt Library with a basic introduction to ocean and atmospheric modeling while featuring results from OOMG’s CNAPS model for Hurricanes Harvey (2016), Irma (2017), Florence (2018), and Dorian (2019).  His talk, “From the Top of the Atmosphere to the Bottom of the Ocean“,was one of the presentations that the NC State Library put on for GIS Week.
